Well, the time had come to finally get a new shop, more space was desperately needed, so I bit the bullet, signed on the dotted line and bought a new 24' x 40' HEAVY DUTY steel building from Handi-Port. It was installed at the end of the summer of 2014.

After a very slow fall there was not enough money to get the interior finished, so I scrimped and saved and finally bought the interior wall panels in Feb. 2015 and took a trip back up to the mountains to get back to work on the new shop, this is what I found...

Currently, Handi-Port is in no hurry to talk to me, or to stand behind their workmanship or "Heavy Duty" steel buildings. This blog will chronicle, in detail, how Handi-Port does business. At this point, everything I have is tied up in this, and with no shop to move into, the business I have spent 9 years building will go under and I will be forced to end this period of my life, all for trusting in "Heavy Duty" American Craftsmanship. I surely hope this is not the new face of customer service or support in America, and especially in Appalachia, but I guess it may be a sign of the times. More to come soon...
